1. Data controller

RCP Desarrollos e Inversión, S.A. de C.V. ("RCP"), doing business as Roots Capital & Partners, with address at Avenida Tecnológico 100, suite 905, colonia San Ángel, Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, ZIP 76030, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through this website, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its applicable regulations.

2. Personal data we collect

When you fill out the contact form, we collect your name, company, email, phone number and message. Depending on your profile, we also collect details of the property you describe (asset type, location, area and services of interest) or of the space you are looking for (space type, required area, asset of interest and when you need it). When you sign up for the Bajío Report, we collect your email and profile.

When you browse the site, the hosting provider automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your visit, for security and operation purposes.

RCP does not request sensitive, financial or asset-related personal data through this site. Please do not include it in your message.

3. Purposes of processing

If you do not want your data used for the additional purposes, you can tick the corresponding box on the contact form, write at any time to contacto@rcpdesarrollos.com with the subject "No communications", or use the unsubscribe link in every message. Your choice will not affect how we handle your request.

4. Who we share your data with

To run the site and email, RCP relies on providers that process data only on RCP's behalf and instructions: Netlify, Inc. (site hosting and form handling) and Google LLC (Google Workspace, email). These providers may store information on servers outside Mexico.

RCP does not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. It may only transfer it where the law allows without your consent, such as a request from a competent authority or a transfer to companies in RCP's group operating under the same privacy policies.

5. ARCO rights and withdrawing consent

You have the right to know what data we hold and how we use it (Access), to have it corrected (Rectification), to have it deleted (Cancellation) and to object to its use for specific purposes (Opposition). You may also withdraw the consent you gave us.

To do so, send a request to contacto@rcpdesarrollos.com including:

  1. Your name and an email address for our reply.
  2. A copy of an official ID or, where applicable, proof of legal representation.
  3. A clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise.
  4. Any document that helps us locate your data.

RCP will reply within 20 business days of receiving your complete request and, if it applies, will carry it out within 15 business days of that reply. The process is free of charge.

6. Limiting use or disclosure

You may also ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data by writing to the same address. RCP will add you to an internal list so you do not receive communications.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. It only stores your language preference in your browser, which does not identify you and can be cleared from your browser settings.

8. Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer. RCP applies administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at companies, owners and investors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this notice

RCP may update this notice due to legal changes or changes in its services. Any change will be published on this page, with the last updated date at the top.

11. Consent

By ticking the acceptance box and submitting the form, you confirm you have read this notice and consent to the processing of your data as described here.
